A group of Dutch Matchbox collectors organised a toy fair in Holland to promote the buying, selling and exchanging of Matchbox diecast models. They sought and obtained permission from Lesney Products to alter the standard Y5 Talbot van to promote this meeting. To enable them to change the standard colours the components of the van were stripped down, repainted, and reassembled by the use of screws in the baseplate. Affectionately known as the 'clock' model because of the plastic roof advertisement showing the time and date of the collectors meeting. this model was issued with an authenticating certificate which came in the box.

Livery: (Label) - 'KLOKKENZOLDER DE STOEVELAAR HOUTEN' in white on either side of panels - '1e MATCHBOX MEETING HOLLAND' in white on both lower van panels - '4 OCT 1981' with clock hands showin 10 past 10 in black on white roof board.

Other Comments: 360 models based on Menier vans were produced. These all come in standard "Straw" boxes with associated numbered certificates.
A small number of models based on Taystee vans were also issued with certificates, but these bore no numbers. An article appeared in MICA magazine Vol.20 No.4 stating that 51 of these were made, but it's been suggested more than once that in fact only 12 were produced.
